The Omnipure SCL10 Inline Filter effectively reduces Chlorine, Taste & Odour, as well as Scale from your drinking water.
The Cartridge consists of granular activated carbon used to reduce taste, odour and chlorine taste and odour along with a polyphosphate scale inhibitor.
The Omnipure SCL10 filter can be used in icemakers, coffee machines, refrigerators, beverage equipment, drinking fountains, under the sink systems, and reverse osmosis systems.
The Filter includes 2 x 6mm or 1/4 inch John Guest fittings to connect to 6mm OD copper or plastic water pipe. If you require 10mm OD John Guest fittings please make a note requesting this on the checkout page

As this filter is Granulated activated carbon it needs to be flushed until the water runs clear. To do this we recommend the inlet pipe is fitted to the filter and then the filter is flushed into a bucket before installing the outlet pipe. This way the fine particles of carbon are not flushed though your appliance.
