The Omnipure Q5486 Q-Series Replacement water filter Cartridge consists of granular activated carbon used to reduce taste, odour and chlorine taste and odour along with a polyphosphate scale inhibitor.

The Omnipure Q-series head fits all Q-series filters in the omnipure range.

Replacement of the spent media bed is done quickly by detaching the filter body from a permanent head with a twist of the wrist. The new filter Cartridge is just as easily threaded into the head and the replacement is then complete.
