The GE SmartWater MSWF Cartridge fits GE side-by-side refrigerators (manufactured after 2007) with a round long filter, typically mounted inside the refrigerator at the rear of the compartment - above the top shelf.

The EFF-6013A filter is compatible with any fridge that uses the GE SmartWater MWF Cartridge filter.

The GE SmartWater MWF Cartridge has become impossible to buy in the USA so we have changed to the best quality available Purity Pro NSF Certified cartridge that is made by the filter company that makes Samsung Filters. The MWF fits GE refrigerators with a round white plastic filter, typically mounted inside the refrigerator at the rear of the compartment - above the top shelf.

The GE Smart Water Filter Adapter Works with fridges that use older metal filters like FXRC, FXRT, MXRC, HXRT, and WR97X10006.

Lets you upgrade to the newer GE MWF - which is cheaper and filters more from your water.

Designed to be reused so you only have to buy it once.

The MWF filter with the adapter is is about 25mm taller than the older metal canister style MXRC filter so you may have to lower your top shelf.

Installation:
Just twist the adapter onto the new MWF filter, then install the adapter and filter assembly into the fridge. The next time you change your filter, the adapter will stay in the fridge so you'll never need to buy another one.

The GE SmartWater GXRLQ filter kit can be used on any brand of refrigerator with an icemaker and/or water dispenser.

This complete filter kit includes the head unit with 1/4" Quick Connect fittings for a fast leak free installation PLUS the GE cartridge. You would purchase this unit if you have a fridge without any filter fitted into its water supply.
